Problem Statement

Lower leg injuries such as sprained ankles, ACL and achilles tears or sprains have always been a negative possibility to athletes of all levels. These injuries have the potential to damage an athlete’s current or future career. The field of physical therapy has been the main way to aid athletes in recovering from lower leg injuries. However, physical therapy treatments can be expensive, take up a lot of an individual’s time and can go on for multiple months depending on the severity of the lower leg injury. These cons to physical therapy treatment can cause the patient to spend a lot of time and money on their treatment or be unable to obtain proper treatment.
